U-21 Team Started with Victory over Luxembourg

On Thursday the Georgian U-21 team coached by Aleksandre Chivadze held the first qualifying round match of European Championship against Luxembourg and won 3:0.

The head coach took 21 players to Luxembourg. He added 4 – goalkeeper Gabriel Tebidze, defender Davit Ubilava and forwards Giorgi Pantsulaia and Nika Kacharava – from U-19 team. Giorgi Chanturia of “Vitesse” and Vako Kazaishvili are on the team too.

The Georgians gained advantage from the beginning. At the 48th minute Sinani kicked the ball and it touched crossbar. Giorgi Nadiradze, goalkeeper of “Spartak” Tskhinvali, played well. The Georgians scored the first goal at the 18th minute. Davit Skhirtladze was the author of this goal. At the 60th minute Holter received the second yellow card and had to leave the field. Mamuka Kobakhidze and Giorgi Chanturia scored other two goals. “Crusaders” will hold the next game against Slovakia on 9 September.

In our group Holland defeated Scotland 4:0.
