In the 16th round of the Spanish Championship “Zaragoza” of Giorgi Shermadini and Viktor Sanikidze visited Vitoria and lost to “Laboral Kutxa” 83:92.
“Zaragoza” has 8 wins and 8 losses and is in the 9th place.
The both Georgians were in lineup. Shermadini earned 13 points and 4 rebounds in 15:40 minutes.
The Georgian center scored 5 from 7 2 points and 3 from 4 free throws. He had 3 turnovers and 3 fouls were committed against him. Shermadini received 5 personal fouls.
Sanikidze finished the game without a point. He missed all three 3 points in 12:46 minutes. Viktor earned 1 assist, 1 steal and 2 blocks. He received one foul and one foul was committed against him.
Besides Shermadini, three basketball players scored more than 10 points. Damjan Rudez of Croatia scored 16 points, Pedro Llompart – 12 and Michael Roll – 11.
“Zaragoza” will hold the next game against “Murcia” on January 25. On January 21 “Zaragoza” will play “Lietuvos Rytas” of Lithuania at Eurocup.
