Gia Tsetsadze, head coach of the Georgian U-19 team, is very satisfied with his team play against Scotland and is resented with refereeing of the Spanish referee in this match.
Tsetsadze stated about it on the Geel stadium where he was watching the Belgium-England match.
“Our team played well. We played better than our opponent. I have never seen such bad refereeing. In my opinion, the Spanish referee did not make mistakes. He consciously sent off our two players. I am resented with his refereeing.
I talked to Georgian Football Federation and informed it with everything. I think the federation will discuss this issue and will apply to European structures about this Spanish referee”, - Tsetsadze told us.
He thanked the team that they managed to win the match in such difficult situation.
“I want to thank those Georgian fans who came to the stadium and supported their team. They played their role in this victory”, - mentioned the coach of the Georgian team.
About 50 Georgian fans were on the stadium. They arrived from different cities of Belgium. There was staff of Georgian embassy in Belgium and Davit Solomonia on the stadium. Solomonia did not sit in VIP box. He and his child were beside the Georgian fans on the tribune. Davit Solomonia and veteran Georgian football player Gia Chincharauli who lives in Belgium conducted the Georgian fans with loud shouts. They shouted: “Georgia”, “Long live Georgia”, “Georgia-champion, Scotland-outsider”.
After the match, members of the team, coaches and administration thanked the Georgian fans for their support.
