Georgian national basketball team held the second test match against Israel in Haifa and unfortunately they lost. As far as you know, apprentices of Igor Kokoshkov won over Jews 74:73 in Eilat and this time they lost 75:77.
There is nothing to worry about in this account, but it is a pity that the Georgians had a big advantage and they could not use it. The hosts were winning 19 points and is the start half they won 47:32.
But in the 2nd half the hosts were able to turn the game around and ended the game well. The host won 6-minute period 20:0 (!), in the last minutes they advanced 77:70 and soon there was a final whistle.
Giorgi Tsintsadze was the best among Georgian with 19 points. Viktor Sanikidze scored 18 points, Ricky Hikman scored 15 points and as for Giorgi Shermadini, he scored 8 points and rebounded 14.
Georgian national team is to hold the final Euro Basket match on September 1 against Lithuania. The Georgians leave for Kaunasis on August 29 and on September 2 they fly to Slovenia with a charter flight.
