Georgian national judo team won 9 medals at Tbilisi Grand Prix and became the champion among 24 teams. The team, coached by Irakli Uznadze gained 4 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals. Heavyweight Adam Okruashvili has fully justified the favorite status by showing a strong fight. He was involved from ¼ final and surpassed his teammate Rostom Khakhaleishvili by four Shido. Okruashvili easily beat Romanian Daniel Natea. In final, he overcame Russian Anton Krivobokov by Wazari.
