After the draw with Scotland, Chivadze made one change in lineup. Forward Giorgi Kvilitaia replaced Giorgi Papava. Vako Kazaishvili, Giorgi Chanturia (from right) and Jano Ananidze (from left) helped Kvilitaia.
Lasha Parunashvili and Jaba Jigauri played on the wings. The Slovaks had numeral advantage in the center. However, Giorgi Papava substituted Jano Ananidze after the break. The Georgian U-21 team played the first 20 minutes of the second half weakly.
At the 5th minute Slovak forward Shranz could not use a perfect chance. He was one on one with Giorgi Nadiradze, kicked the ball but Davit Ubilava did well and parried the ball. The Georgians started playing actively from the 15th minute. Giorgi Chanturia played well. He had two good moments but missed the target. For the third time he assisted Vako Kazaishvili who scored goal – 1:0.
It was a good start but the continuation? The happiness lasted only three minutes: the Slovaks started a good combination from the right and Meszaros scored goal – 1:1.

At the 75th minute there was an episode when Bulgarian referee Popov did not reward the Georgians with penalty. Giorgi Chanturia was one on one with the goalkeeper when the defender played very rudely against him but Popov pointed to continue playing. It was a real penalty and the Slovak deserved red card but what did we get? Furious Chanturia and yellow card.
