Today, legendary Lithuanian basketball player Sergejus Jovaisa has paid one-day visit to Tbilisi. He will hold a press conference at “Sheraton Metechi Palace” at 19:30. The visit of Jovaisa was an initiative of Mikheil Gabrichidze, one of the presidential candidates of the Georgian Basketball Federation.

Sergejus Jovaisa is world (1982 – gold; 1978 – silver) and European (1981, 1985 – gold; 1983 – bronze; 1987 – silver) champion and prize winner, two-time Olympic bronze medal winner (as a member of the Soviet Union team in 1980 and as a member of the Lithuanian national team in 1992), champion and prize winner of the Soviet Union.
